Senses in Disguise #3: Tasting, Berries and Leaves

Fall 2019

Oil paint

Third painting in the titled series where I combined physical characteristics of a specific sense and disguising them as plants. This one being the sense tasting, taking human teeth and tongues and disguising it as berries and leaves. Not wanting to do another Venus Flytrap or carnivorous plant, I decided to use a berry branch as inspiration and painted teeth and tongue instead of a mouth.
